Once the proposal is accepted and signed, definitive project teams are assigned at both the client and Onlinefocus. A kick-off meeting is held with team members from both organizations. To define project vision, goals, objectives, and known risks. Priorities are determined and a schedule of next steps will be finalized. The overall timeline for the project is created, subject to revision during the Definition phase.

Onlinefocus interviews at least one key technical personnel at the client regarding their company's current Internet operations, in order to reveal any technical constraints or assumptions that could influence the course of the project - including any potential impact on the user interface design, task flows, and client-side implementation.
In order to develop a solid understanding of the application's target users, Onlinefocus conducts an appropriate set of user studies. These are described in more depth under Design Services.
Key Findings Presentation The Discovery phase culminates in a meeting where Onlinefocus and the client collaboratively review the findings and their implications.
