Like any company worth its salt, we have a rigorous and disciplined process for getting from need to conception to development and delivery. Unlike many internet service companies, our process is flexible and scaleable to your needs. We've worked on enough projects to know that there is no one-size fits all process. No matter how big or small, however, we always move through 5 phases, which we call our 5D Process: Discovery, Definition, Design, Development and Delivery.
For all but the smallest projects Onlinefocus provides the client with a password-protected URL that points to a site on an Onlinefocus staging server. This extranet site provides access in a single location to all pertinent design and development documents, organized for maximum clarity. The extranet site will typically be updated at least once a week, and will serve as the basis for frequent progress reviews between Onlinefocus and the client.
Below are descriptions of our typical application of this process. We provide this information to give you an idea of what you could expect working with us. Whether all, some, or only a few of these methods are used depends upon the scope of your project and where we fit in.
Many of our clients find it helpful to enter into a maintenance agreement with OnlineFocus to take care of ongoing changes to the finished website. If such an arrangement fits the needs of the client, then we enter into an agreement to handle long-term maintenance needs. More about our maintenance service.
