Sun Microsystems Two years ago, promotions in the Education section of the Sun website were scattershot and generated poor click-thru rates. Furthermore, administrative updates to the Sun website were lengthy and labor-intensive. Sun came to us for help. After an initial study, we created a common area for all promotions, and designed a "resource box" that was placed on all content pages. This resource box contains links to Further Information, the Sunstore, and Related Materials. By addressing the needs of the customers, we were able to dramatically speed update times and boost sales of certain products. We are proud to report that website stickiness of this section has increased by 98%. LSI LogicOur solution was to collaboratively design a content repository database that plugs into TeamSite (a third-party content management system). Now, content creators simply place their content into one centralized repository and the system ensures the content is available to all channels and redundancy is eliminated. Plus, our system allows for the expansion of the system to other media.
